There are three types of 904L stainless steel plate: hot rolled stainless steel plate, cold rolled stainless steel plate and finish rolled stainless steel plate.

 

904L super austenitic stainless steel belongs to low carbon, high nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless steel with acid resistance. It is the exclusive material of H. S Company of France. It has good activation-passivation transformation ability, excellent corrosion resistance, good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulphuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid and phosphoric acid, good pitting corrosion resistance in neutral chloride-containing media, and good crack corrosion resistance and stress corrosion resistance. Suitable for sulfuric acid of various concentration below 70 C. It also has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid of any concentration and temperature under atmospheric pressure and mixed acid of formic acid and acetic acid.
